A Valentine to Remember Sonamy

It was the 14th of February 2011. Which means its was valentines day! The day were all the couples get together for a romantic night or a walk in the park.

Amy rose, a young, pink hedgehog with pink quills and green eyes that could stop anyone in their tracks just to look at them, sighed dreamily as she looked at the calender. She had circled 14th febbruary in big red and pink hearts. Amy grabbed a pen and put i cross through the box. Amy squeled in excitement. If you haven't already guessed, valentines Day was her favourite day of the whole year! Amy still couldn't belive what was going to happen later this evening. Sonic is preparing a romantic dinner for her at his house! Amy remembered the day he asked her to come round as if it was only ten minutes ago.

-Flashback-

Amy happily skipped down the dirt path in the park. She loved the Spring time because of all the beautiful flowers that were blooming. Amy sighed 'I'm turning into Cream!' Amy thought playfully. Amy saw a blue blur speed passed her leaving a scent of mens deoderant. Amy new who it was straight away with no doubt in her mind. It was Sonic. She just ignored it. She got over him sometime now, they say hello when they see eachover and the occasional how are you? But Amy doesn't glomp on him anymore. Then she got confused. She noticed the blur slowed down and came back to her.

"Huh?" Amy said confused. The blur stopped in front of her. Amy tilted her head to the side in confusion. 'Sonic doesn't usually stop and then come back?' Amy thought to herself.
"Uhh Hiya Ames" Sonic said shyly looking at the ground.
"Oh hey Sonic, watcha doin?" Amy asked looking at the nervous cobalt hedgehog in front of her.
"Nothin much....hey uhh Amy...You know its valentines day tommorow and...." Sonic said nervously, blushing hard, kicking the dirt on the road.
"Yeah it is Sonic.....What do you want?" Amy said casually at the hedgehog although inside she was thinking: is he gunna ask me?
"Well i was wandering do you want to uhhh....Come round to mine for dinner?" Sonic said looking up at Amy.


Amy was stunned. He just asked her out.....ON VALENTINES DAY! Amy was stumped. Should she? Should she not? Amy bit her lip.
"Uhhhh...." Amy said looking at the floor. 'Do it!' Amy mind was all over the place. Amy took a couple of deep breaths and looked up at Sonic with a cheerful smile.
"Of course Sonic! See you tommorow!" Amy strutted off past Sonic. Sonic did a low whistle at the way Amy was walking. Amy giggled to herslef and walked home...

-End Of Flashaback-

Amy looked through her wardrobe. She pulled out various dresses, all different colours. Amy rubbed her chin with her hand.
"Which one should I.....OOOO! This one!" Amy picked up a beatiful orange, silk dress. It cam down just above her knees. It had thick spagetti straps and had a pink bow around the waist. Amy laid it down on her bed. She looked at it in awe. She loved this dress so much.
Vanilla made it for her when she was having a girls night out with Blaze, Rouge and Cream.

Shoes. Amy needed a great pair of shoes to make her outfit. She pulled out a huge draw from her bed. In in the draw were hundreds of pairs of shoes. Amy pulled out a flattering pair of orange ballet flats that had pink embrodery around the edges.

It was 6:00pm Amy had the dress and shoes on. She was right now putting on some orange eye shadow. She put on some light pink lip gloss that matched her dress. Amy put on a pearl necklace and matching bracelets. She slipped on her pink headband and looked at herself in the mirror. Amy smiled at how she looked. She looked stunning, well in her opinion anyway. She glanced at her clock it read 6:05.
"Oh No im gunna be late!" Amy said worried. She franticlly went downstairs and grabbed her coat. She ran down to Sonic's house as fasy as she could in what she was wearing.

She arrived at Sonic's house. She knocked on his door and tried to compose herself. Sonic opened the door and his jaw dropped at the sight before him.
"Amy you look...WOW!" Sonic said speechless. Amy blushed and giggled.
"Thank You Sonic" Amy said with the same cheerful smile. Sonic gestured towards the door. Amy walked in and gasped. In the middle of the room was a table set with a beautiful red, satin table cloth with a chandelier in the middle. Sonic helped Amy take off her coat and led her to her seat.

Amy sat down as did Sonic and they tucked into their romantic dinner.
"I'm so surprised that we arn't eating Chili Dogs Sonic!" Amy said playfully whilst cutting her chicken. Sonic laughed.
"Yeah me to! I had some help from Blaze though, She is a really good cook!" Sonic said taking a sip of water.
Amy smiled at Sonic. She was enjoying herself with one of her best friends.

Amy and Sonic finished their meals and talked for hours about how they have been doing. It was 10:00pm. Amy gasped at the time. She was enjoying herself so much she lost track of time! Amy got up to leave when she felt Sonic grab her arm and pull her into a hug.
"Thanks for coming Amy.....I had a great time!" Sonic said taking Amy's hand.
"Uhh..." Amy said blushing as Sonic intwined their fingers.
"Amy, I want to say I love you! I always have! I know i might have been mean sometimes but I didn't want you to fall in love with me because Eggman Could use you as a way to get to me! But now he is dead i can be with you! I want to be with you! Please Amy be with me! Please?" Sonic said staring deep into her eyes.

Amy was starstruck! Sonic was begging her to be with him and not the other way around! Amy nodded her head slightly saying yes. That was all she could do! Sonic smiled and hugged amy tight and spun her around. Amy held on tight to sonic and giggled as he spun her around.
"Oh Sonic i love you too!" Sonic looked at Amy and smiled, He leaned forward and kissed her sweetly on the lips. Amy was drawn into the kiss like i moth to a flame. Amy pulled back and looked into Sonic's eyes dreamily and smiled as her eyes glistened.
"This was definatly i valentines day to remember!" Amy said happily as she kissed Sonic again.

So it was official, valentines day was Amy's favorite day of the whole year!
